Displaying Current or Wave data
Both currents and wave data can be displayed either as primary weather model (just currents or wave data) or merged into another weather model like GFS, COAMPS or NAVGEM. To download current or waved alone, simply select the current or wave model as the weather model and use the following table as guide:
To change GRIB download parameters, tap the gears icon while the blue and yellow area selection map is shown.
To download current or waves with GFS, COAMPS or NAVGEM make sure the layers current, wave height, wave direction or wave period are selected for the primary weather model. WeatherTrack will then display additional fields in the GRIB parameters, namely the current and the wave model data to be merged. If TIDETECH is specified as current model, an additional field appears that allows selection of the TIDETECH area.
Again in short:
For TIDETECH current downloads a valid subscription is required. These subscriptions are available in the in-app store (since version 1.5.2, the shopping cart symbol on the WeatherTrack task bar). Existing TIDETECH customers can also enter their user name and password in the WeatherTrack settings.
